Who are you listening to? Who do you listen to the most?
It’s an easy answer. Really.
Yourself!
You have had a conversation going on with yourself since day one. And guess what? That’s the most important chit-chat you’ll ever have.
Why? Because you always believe what you are telling yourself. It’s true. Good or bad. Happy or sad.
Your inner dialog is soooo powerful! It propells you upward or downward. Your words produce your self-image. Whatever conversation you are having, is the life you are creating.
How awesome is that? You get to choose every day how you talk to yourself. If you are pushing yourself down, stop it. Now.
If you are not speaking positive words to yourself, it’s because you have fallen into a bad habit. You can change it!
Here’s a few great affirmations you can say to yourself throughout the day:
Good things always happen to me.
I am a very likable person.
I am talented and creative.
I am healthy and happy.
I am prosperous.
I help others and see the good in them.
I am a forgiving person. Especially to myself.
I make great decisions.
Do you get it? Love yourself. Be kind to yourself.
Cultivate a great dialog. Learn how to talk to yourself about yourself.
You are already engaged in the conversation. You already believe your own words. Just be considerate. Make encouraging statements. Say them out loud! Your whole demeanor and perspective will change. Try it. I’m serious.
To great conversations,
Martha

Hi Martha,
Great post! I wonder if you could make a recording of your inner dialog and play it out loud to yourself, that would be a very powerful lesson!? As you say, there is a constant dialog, and you might as well make it a good one!!
Have a great Sunday!
Claus
Great idea Claus! And of course, put it to music!
