It’s early. I’m tired. But this is important.
I’m writing this blog from the San Antonio airport while I’m waiting on my flight. If EVER I have had anything to say about motivation, today is it.
What do I write about? You know.
Stay the course, keep moving, don’t listen to the little negative voices in your head. All that stuff.
And believe it or not, I DO practice what I preach most of the time.
Not too long ago, I realized that one of the things I do best is encourage others. Motivate others. Help people see the positive. Encourage people to “go for it.”
If you use that advice, stay focused, keep moving toward your dream, (and here’s the key) NO MATTER WHAT, then you will see that aspiration come to pass. It is SO true!
It happened to me.
This weekend.
I gave a 10 minute motivational talk. In front of an audience. A really large audience. With a microphone. With professional filming, From a stage filled with experts in their field. And did I mention, one of them was a contributor to The Secret, Dr. Joe Vitale? Wow.
As I write this, I am completely overwhelmed. With joy. With gratitude.
It all started with a seed. An idea. Then an action. An inspired action. (and lots of unbelievable movement from God above during the interim)
What is your idea? What is your dream?
Focus on it. Keep taking action. People will come into your life that you never expected and will help you get there. That person for me was Pat O’Bryan. I will forever be grateful for his belief in people and what they are capable of. He autographed his book, Your Portable Empire for me last year with these words, “Go for it!”
I did. And I have never looked back.
